Tammy of The Embellished Dame was first in front of the lens this past Saturday. She was awarded The Best Plus Size Blogger Award for Houston Fashion Bloggers in December so she's kind of a big deal. Her style is all about fashion. Being a curvly girl standing ad 5'11" she blogs about finding clothes suitable for curvy and tall girls with big feet.

Recently I responded to an ad searching for female photographers to help two bloggers who have joined forces; Antoinette of The Curvy Corps and Tammy of The Embellished Dame have formed The Plus Size Pop in Girls. They literally 'pop in' to stores that say they sell plus size clothing, try on clothes and give their reviews on the store, clothing and sizes. The stores get free promotion and their readers may find a new place for clothes to fit their figures.  I'm going to do a separate post for each person highlighting their individual styles but here are my favorites from our joint shoot.

This past Friday I had a "Mommy & me" session with my friend Simone and her sweet baby boy Isaac while her husband was at work. We met at the Woodlands mall and shot in on of their outdoor seating areas then headed over to Waterway square for some open space.

My youngest brother Gideon is one of the most stylish people I've ever met. He lives and breaths fashion! He lives in New York  and works as a fashion consultant, wardrobe/closet stylist and personal shopper. He is spotted in a Rocawear InstaGram commercial (in the white shirt) and most recently spotted on the Nasdaq MarketSite in Time Square with Rocawear. Makayla is hands down one of the smartest toddlers I've ever met. She catches on so quickly and is so full of life. She tried to take my camera numerous times so she could take pictures of me! The weather was beautiful, but not as beautiful as this kid. (I may be a tad biased, she is my niece after all.) I hope to one day have a child as vibrant, sweet and quick-witted as her.

I may do this regularly or this could be a one time thing. I wanted to show a logo design I did for a friend of mine last year who has an online store called Pynk Rezidue. She wanted something modern and feminine. After playing with a few designs we both fell in love with this one. It meets all of her needs without being overpowering.

I gave her the option of black or white font because this was going to be printed on business cards, flyers T-shirts and possibly more. I think it really pops. This is one of my favorite designs.

It's been a while. I haven't blogged in who knows how long. This will be the "behind the scenes" area for my photography and graphic designs. I am excited about getting back into doing what I love. Whether it's a photo shoot, me massing around with my camera or playing in Photoshop. I hope you enjoy!
